I volunteer for Harrogate Cat Rescue, and I wanted to include some information about the Rescue on my website, they work tirelessly to help abandoned, vulnerable cats and kittens and it is run entirely through volunteers and donations.

Donations help cover the costs of vets bills which are extremely high as most of the cats that come into care have various ailments and most need neutering and vaccinating. There are also the costs of food, litter and accessories that go to every foster carer.
Harrogate Cat Rescue are regularly looking for foster carers to help look after the cats and kittens that come into their care - unfortunately almost on a daily basis - until they are adopted and find their loving forever homes.

Their Mission:
"We believe that no cat should suffer. No cat should be put to sleep unnecessarily. Every cat has the right to shelter, food and care. Every cat has the right to be treated with respect and compassion. To help as many cats as we can, offer them shelter and care until a loving home is found. To promote neutering and support the feral community."

All cats and kittens that are homed by Harrogate Cat Rescue will have received a veterinary health check, flea and worm treatment, microchip, and at least their first vaccination. They also offer ongoing advice, support, and guidance to prospective adopters.

Before I failed at fostering and adopted one of my foster cats, I looked after some gorgeous cats and kittens. I admit, I did become a bit of an emotional wreck when they left to go to their forever homes, but ultimately, I am happy they found permanent love and care!
I'm very lucky in that I cat sit for my first foster cat! 😻
Here are some of the cats with Harrogate Cat Rescue I have fostered.
Harrogate Cat Rescue Cat Kickers
If you haven't heard about them already, the Rescues Cat Kickers are becoming very famous! They have a secret, unique blend of Silver vine and Valerian that cats love and go a little bit crazy for! A bit like catnip but better!

If you'd like one or 2, let me know, alternatively you can pick them up from the rescue for £2.50 each.
